Golf Club Wiesensee
Golf Club Wiesensee is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Germany. The club is located directly on the shores of Lake Wiesensee, between the economic centers of Rhein-Main and Cologne-Bonn.
The natural golf course offers fantastic views of Lake Wiesensee and the surrounding Westerwald mountain range. Highlights of the course are hole 9- with 569 meters, it is one of the longest par 5 in Germany; hole 11 - a par 3 with 217 meters and a stone bridge. There is also a public 9-hole short course and a covered driving range as well as putting, pitching and chipping greens.
Golf Club Wiesensee has been awarded the Gold Certificate by the German Golf Association as part of the "Golf & Nature" program. Golf Club Wiesensee has extensive measures to incorporate and protect the natural environment on the golf course. The orchard meadows on the golf course is home to over 5,000 animal and plant species and is even home to three honeybee colonies. Wildflowers is in abundance and provides pollen and nectar for the honeybees. Golfers can truly enjoy the golf course and its natural environment.
Golf Club Wiesensee is part of a four-star superior golf and hotel complex that offers an elegant, Mediterranean ambience, as well as a spa area, a gym and a modern meeting area. Culinary delights are provided by the hotel's own steak restaurant Moog (pronounced Mo-Ku) and the half-board and à la carte restaurant with specialties such as the Westerwälder Tapas.
