Vietnam Golf & Country Club was the first 36-hole golf club in Vietnam. Located an easy 30 minutes from the center of Ho Chi Minh City near Long Binh, the club is accessible by highway.

Long recognized as Vietnam’s premier golf club, Vietnam Golf & Country Club was twice voted runner-up as Asia’s best golf course. The West course opened in 1994 and was designed by Taiwanese architect Chen King Shih. The following year and then again in 1997, the traditional style tree lined woodland West course hosted the Vietnam Open.

Six-time major champion Lee Trevino was invited to design the second (East) 18-hole course at the club, which opened in late 1997. The East course boasts more generous fairways than the tighter West course, but is equally challenging, guarded by cleverly positioned bunkers and numerous lakes, with tricky elevated and undulating Bermuda greens.

Whichever course you decide to play, you will leave with fond memories of your experience. Additional amenities at Vietnam Golf & Country Club include; swimming pools, tennis courts, gymnasium, squash courts, and an international restaurant.

East Course

Lee Trevino, or the Merry Mex as he is affectionately known, a 6 time Major Champion designed the East Course which opened in 1997. A Park-Land stlye golf course with generous fairway widths off the tee. Golfers will need to be strategic with angles from the tee as the small sloped greens always demand precision in iron play if your looking to score well.

West Course

The West course first opened in December 1994, and was designed by Taiwanese architect Chen King Shih. The Par 72 Championship Course hosted the Vietnam Open (Asian PGA Tour Event) in both 1995 and 1997. The course winds its way through the trees offering challenging tee shots to the tree lined fairways before playing to the softly contoured Bermuda TifEagle greens which provide beautiful putting surfaces all year round.
